Staying Non-Political in a Political World? Part Three

Read Part One

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to sit down with Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce director Mary Jo Coulehan and talk about the political changes going on in our little, economically challenged town.

I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation, and I'd like to share some of it with our Daily Post readers... but unfortunately, I spent the morning preparing a short video and an article about last night's Town Planning Commission meeting, regarding the propsoed Walmart.  (Click here to view that article.)

So I will continue with the Chamber of Commerce discussion tomorrow, Thursday, August 23... as we prepare for the Town Council's scheduled meeting regarding the Reservoir Hill Amusement Park proposal set to start at 12 noon at Town Hall.

I will say briefly that the Chamber was hoping to present, during tomorrow's Reservoir Hill discussion, the results of a membership survey on that very subject.  Unfortunately, the website survey malfunctioned, according to Ms. Coulehan — and so the Town Council will not receive any letter of support, or other specific input from the Chamber at tomorrow's meeting, other than a notice from the Chamber board that they are not able, at this time, to support the proposed Reservoir Hill plan.

I'm looking forward to sharing more tomorrow.
